Ken Birnbaum, rabbinical student at Chovevei Torah and music teacher at SAR High School, will deliver the lecture on the topic of "The Development of the Holiday of Lag BaOmer." Kenny will serve as the rabbinic intern at KRA for 2008-2009 and will begin in September, 2008.

May 31st: Mitchell Banks, President of M & L Banks International, will speak on the topic of "Dreyfus: A Revisiting."
June 7th: Elana Stein Hain, Resident Scholar at the Jewish Center and doctoral student of religion at Columbia University, will deliver the lecture following services.
June 14th: The Fourth Annual KRA Celebration will follow services. Rabbi Mintz will deliver the lecture following services.
 

CONDOLENCE NOTE

We regret to inform you of the passing of Carol A. Joyce, mother of Ed Joyce. The wake will be held on Thursday May 22nd, from 2 pm to 4pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ (www.holmdelfuneralhome.com).

The funeral will be on Friday, May 23rd, at 10:30 am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck, NJ. Ed will be receiving condolence visits on Tuesday, May 27th, from 7 to 9 pm at his home at

Join us for our annual Shavuot Dinner on Sunday evening, June 8th , followed by the Tikkun Leil Shavuot. We will also be hosting our annual picnic in Riverside Park on the 2nd Day of Shavuot. Details to follow.
