Rabbi Ysoscher Katz will deliver the lecture on the topic of "Legislating Repentance: Paradigm or Paradox?" Rabbi Katz is the Director of the Beit Midrash Program (preparatory year) at YCT. He received ordination in 1986 from Rabbi Roth, Dayan of UTA Satmar.

Rabbi Mintz will deliver the Shabbat Shuva Drasha at 6:10 pm on the topic of "The Final Piyyut of Neilah: What Do We Ask For at the Very End?"

BABYSITTING
Babysitting will be available on Kol Nidrei and Yom Kippur from 5pm - 7pm and 10am - 2pm
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
We are preparing the Book of Remembrance to be distributed on Yom Kippur. Please send names to chevra@rayimahuvim.org. The suggested donation is $36 per entry. The deadline for entries is Friday, October 3rd. Payment instructions will be sent in reply to email entry requests.
UPCOMING EVENTS
October 11th: Kenny Birnbaum, KRA Rabbinic Intern, will deliver the lecture following services.
October 25th: Hank Sheinkopf, political, public affairs and governmental relations consultant for nearly 30 years, will speak about the upcoming elections.
 
All Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Succot services will take place at KRA, 241 West 72nd Street.
SUCCOT MEALS

The succot meals will be catered at the JCC Succah by Noam Caterers. The catered meals will be as follows: Monday, October 13th dinner; Tuesday, October 14th lunch and dinner; Wednesday, October 15th lunch; Friday, October 17th dinner; and Shabbat, October 18th lunch. The cost for each meals is $35/person.

Reservations may be made by email to Chevra@RayimAhuvim.org. Please include how many people from your party will attend each meal. Be sure to include your full name. Reservations must be received by Tuesday, October 7th. A bill with payment instructions will be returned via email in response to your reservation. Payment must be received by Friday, October 12th.

If it is impossible for you to make your reservation via email then please ask a friend to send in the reservation on your behalf.

Please let us know if you would like to read a parsha of the Torah or a Haftorah on Shabbat morning. Please let us know if you would like to sponsor a Kiddush, a Gemara shiur or a Jewish History class.
